Amusing Old Comic Book Commercials

Edit: A funny thing I learned today. The comic that I bought wasn’t actually for sale. I found it in one of the many blue boxes, where half of them were marked DON’T TOUCH in rather small unfriendly letters. The box where the comic was, was not marked so I thought it would be ok. It feels even better owning it now, and also having it put in a plastic bag.

I think of myself as a lucky bastard, as I got hold of a used (alright condition) of Batman: Year One issue #4, last Saturday. I already got the whole story in the paperback book-version with improved colouring, but I felt like this was a lost treasure. Funny enough, I only paid 10 NOK (Norwegian kroners) for this and I bet it’s worth a bit more than that since you can’t get them anymore. That’s also why I’ve put it in one of my silver size plastic bags for preservation and pure awesomeness.

So inside the issue there was some old commercials, just like there also is in todays comic books (not inside collection books though). When I saw ‘em I knew I had to scan and upload them here, for your viewer pleasure - of course. Check ‘em out:
