Amanda Bonnen, a Chicago woman, is being sued by Horizon Realty Group – just for tweeting what’s on her mind. The first tweetsuit is a fact.
Her user account (abonnen) has been deactivated, but this is what she tweeted:
@JessB123 You should just come anyway. Who said sleeping in a moldy apartment was bad for you? Horizon realy thinks it’s okay.

…and now she’s getting sued for $50 000 by the realty group. Nice way of showing how to treat their tenants’ complaints, eh?

They totally missed a great opportunity to fix her problem, but instead decided to sue and now it’ll cost them way more than what it would have cost to fix her apartment. Ah, the power of the interwebs. :D
