Pre Final Fantasy XII-talk

After surviving the weekend down south which made me a more manlier man than I could possibly think of being, I’m back to work and onwards to the blogging. So what’s there to write about? Heck there’s plenty of shit to cover and I’m the only real reporter left on Earth, let alone the Internet! So where do I start? How’bout the best-selling news-category that’ll never die out: Entertainment.

The great RPG, that I’ve been bothering my girlfriend for the last months, was finally released in Norway/Europe: Final Fantasy XII (that means 12, moron).

I consider myself a huge, huge, enormous Final Fantasy-fan. Though I did, in fact, not complete Final Fantasy X with all side-quests/side-bosses completed and all characters maxed out. Why? Because I thought the end game content got boring and just wanted to see the end of the game, eject the disc, place the disc into its cover, load the cover into a bazooka and blow the shit to hell. Also I’ve got FFX-2 somewhere at home, but it got too boring too fast so I decided not to include it in the FF-family. If you’ve any wits left to ask why again, I’ll have to make you go out and buy a PSX/PS2/PS3, buy FFVII (that means this-is-the-best-game-ever-7, idiot) and play the darn lovely thing 3 times over, then come back here.

There’s nothing that could ever stand up against FFVII. What does VII got? Good deep characters, truly awesome story, graphics which forces your imagination to polish the last pixels, excellent music (including last boss having his own choir) and a superior end game-contents like Golden Saucer, Chocobo-breeding, Materia-hunting and training, character’s Limit Break-maxing. Well, I’m digressing alot now but I firmly believe in always saying something about FFVII when I’m talking about other FF-games. Back to XII.

Since I missed FFXI (For PC: MMORPG, pay-to-play) and I don’t care about starting now, FFXII will be the FF-game I’ve looked most forward to since FFIX was released. Allthough I’m not a graphics-man, I’m really looking forward to experience Ivalice (the world) in a more detailed level from what I did in FF: Tactics Advanced (for GBA). I’ll guess the story will be good basing it on what I’ve read. I really do enjoy the middle-of-a-war-stories instead of a really peaceful opening. Peaceful sucks ass and conflicts rocks, end of discussion.

Aww, fuck this bloggin’! Clocks past work time and I’m about to head down town to get myself a copy. Looking forward to countless hours of playing. Ohh and I got to eat and shit too.
