Heh, I can actually relate, ‘o’mikkel. I took PE as privatist, so all I had to do was a writing exam. It was boring and I never read the book I was supposed to read.
Looking forward to the ressurection of the forum. Meanwhile, we can use my space. MY space. Without animated gifs ‘n shit.

Sup dudes. So yeah yesterday the forum was just uh, totally broken for some reason and Alexander looked into it but couldn’t for the life of him figure out why and he’s a total nerd!! That’s how broken it is! So anyway, he’s completely redesigning the site (including forum) this weekend and Inge (aka elektronaut but hopefully you already knew that) is going to put it up (we’re hoping anyway, I’ll bake him some cookies or something to sweeten the deal). Does anyone have any specific suggestions for what they’d like to see/have? I can run it by Binaer, we have connections. Usually I just shine a huge light in the sky in the shape of a robot and he shows up within 15 minutes to an hour in a super hero outfit that changes from time to time.
What y’all doing now? I’m at Alexander’s office listening to the Clash waiting to go home. Also, have you guys seen Kick Ass yet? I keep telling you! Dooo itttt!!

Well, a forum upgrade would be nice now, wouldn’t it? As long as it won’t be that pink theme he tried to pull on us way back when, because that really hurt my eyes.
Just make it easier to get to the music and transmission central (twitter/forum/blog posts/etc).
Although videos are nice ‘n awesome, I don’t need to see it everytime I visit the page.

Yes, forum is def going to be upgraded and I will make sure he doesn’t use too much pink ;) I think what you’re describing is essentially what he’s going to try and do, group things much better so that their are fewer categories, and I don’t think he wants people to HAVE to register to post on said forum. From what I’ve heard he wants the twitter, FB, comments on things, and some kind of a forum to be in one place. Then have on category for just videos/pics, then one for downloads. I think it’s going to be cleaned up a lot, but I don’t want to put out false hope so maybe you should forget everything I just said and expect it to be shit so that you won’t be disappointed ;)

‘o’mikkel: That sounds kinda illegal from the school you’re going to. I can’t see any reason why you should not be allowed to take any course as privatist, since it’ll be up to you if you manage or not.
I’m actually doing school work. Got this java assignment where I gotta create a Sudoku-solver that uses a recursive method for adding numbers. Looking forward to the GUI part, but right now I’m stumped at the recursive method…

haha, i asked the counceler at school, at least and she was like do ‘em or go to another school kid, and here the other day i spent my history lesson doodling and drawing a piece of skribbel, and my teacher went all DO WHAT I SAY on me and said that if i didn’t do what i was supposed to i could just take anything as a privatist and get away lol. haha.
though the counceler probably said that because my school is like on the minus side when it comes to economy and if i do the regular subjects as a privatist, they earn less money from having me as a student? i guess i could have just signed up for the subject and paid for it and all and then just showed that i had it to them and theyd let me stop having lessons in it.. i dunno. stupid. me and counceler and teacher. haha. care care.
school does a lot of illegal stuff anyways.
who knows and who cares. its over in like.. a very short while now. so that’ll be grand.

I’m working on my java assignment at the moment. It’s only solving 2×3 sudokus at the moment. It just stops when I try to do 9×9 it stops on the second row. I’ve got no problem with solving a 16×16 either. It’s kinda funny that it won’t solve regular (3×3) sudokus.

mostly around the center of oslo? I guess that makes it more difficult, bet you could find one out here in the “suburbs” really easy? but its a bit boring, having to spend 30/45 minutes to get to school and all.
i should be doing my school work, and my application, but im waiting, ill do it like, right before its too late :P

Moitah, I can’t see that post, but I agree it’s hella awesome! Also I really, really love chocolate milk when in hangover-mode. It heals ‘n fixes ‘n shit. If I could marry dairy, I’d fucking marry Q-sjokolademelk. The wedding would rock, and everyone would’ve been invited.
I know what you mean about living inside the city (here defined as: not the suburbs). It’s always easier when everything’s within walking distance.
Still working on my java assignment. It’s annoying when it’s working whenever I don’t select a 3×3 sudoku board. Guess I gotta get some insight from my lab teacher about that one.

also, chocolate milk is the greatest thing ever. especially when you live in Norway. you guys don’t know how good you’ve got it with the dairy products. fuuuuckkk now I’m gonna go make some O’Boy chocolate milk (great, but not as good as the Q-sjokolademelk. Gonna pick some up at the store tomorrow I think though.
Let us know how the sudoku thing works out… I would have no idea how to do any of that shiiiiiit. So I commend you Sir Koew.

At the school’s computer lab. A lab teacher looked at my code and tried to help me out with my problem. He didn’t find it because everything looked OK. And it does, that’s why it sucks to be me right now. (Also, he thought I wrote nicely!)

I finally got it! With a little bit help from a lab teacher, I’ve now created an algorithm that creates solutions for any blank sudoku board. (For a 3×3 (9×9) board there are ~ 28 million solutions)
And I’ll be celebrating with a lunch with some co-students. Now everything’s blast to the max ‘n shit. I guess I’ll be more fudged when I’m starting on the board GUI, but that’s later on. Right now, I’m there, you know.

Ahh, the day the forums died. I remember it like it was last week! I might be old, but back in the days we knew how to forum. Kids nowadays don’t know their lolcats from their emoticons, just like they shit in both hands and hope it’ll never fill up, you know?
Then again, the grasser is always grass on the other side. And over there they’re having a barbequeue and drinking tons of alcohol – it’s a party every day.
