I’ve finally managed to get rid of the last pink dancing elephant that had been trying to do the moonwalk on top of my head while I was trying to sleep. Though I find it dangerous to shake my head in any fashion as it feels all worlds will collide when I do it. But why shake my head on this beatiful day? This is, in fact, the day I was born on. Well that was exactly 20 years ago so who cares right? There’s like a million babies born every minute so a birthday ain’t really special anymore, not so special as it was in the Dark Ages and Medieval Times when another baby meant another mouth to feed and yell at. Now a baby means reduced taxes, cheap diapers and off-time from work, at least in Norway.
Well, had a good time yesterday. Apart from washing and shit all I did was play FFXII, surf the web and party. I’m going to my mother’s place and we’re going to eat out at Taj Palace, an extremely good tandoor-restaurant. I’d say that almost nothing could beat a steaming hot plate of something spicy meat when you’re in a Hangover Mode Code #3. And I can’t afford such a delicious meal, especially if there’s people coming with me. That’s one of the things you learn when you’re a civil service worker in Norway. Spend all the money you get on entertainment and then leech of relatives and close friends.
Woke up today because my cell phone was ringing at it’s highest level. ’twas my grandmom who lives in the Northern parts of Norway. It’s even so North that people from the North are amazed on how North she really lives. Anyways she called and I’ve not talked to her for a long time so it was a blast. Not minutes after I’d put the phone down, my father called and wished me a happy birthday. This day has been nothing but pink dancing elephants, text messages on my cell phone and calls from relatives.
Ohh and there’s my blog too, which I’m writing at now. And now I’m heading for the showers, to collect heat and energy, which is the same of two things, right? Anyways I hope everyone has a beatifull Sunday on March 4th 2007, the Year I Became 20 Years Old. It’s about time I went out and bought some sweet liquor. But my head refuses right now and it’s accompanied by my wallet, which looks rather thin for the moment. Poor little sod.
