My Latest Order of Comics

The latest order of comics I did from Amazon set me back a whoppin’ $500. There are two reasons why I ordered: 1) The dollar is now historically low vs. Norwegian kroners (NOK), meaning more comics for the same dollar, and 2) I’ve read all my previous ordered comics. Hence I need more.

To be a completely (or almost) comic book guy, I’ve got to show you the list of ordered items. Turn your nerd-factor to 12 and bear with me:

Sin City

When it comes to Frank Miller I’ve only got one thing to say: Lumberjack-hardcore. His hard-cornered drawings and violent stories makes me want to go out in the forest and cut down some trees.

I already own the Daredevil-book he did with Klaus Janson, and of course the Absolute Dark Knight-book. Finally I will own the complete Sin City too:

Hellblazer (John Constantine)

I’d reckon this is a must-have for any comic collector, as it’s one of those series that you can’t miss. I consider myself even so lucky that I got to order everything Amazon had to offer when it came to demon-hater Johnny Boy.

Though the price might’ve stung my wallet, I’m looking forward to having these babies on the shelf - after I’ve read them, of course:
