Well, of course I tried. I really wanted a backwards compatible design that validated in HTML, CSS and WAI (Priority 1 mainly). It does, and it even approves Section 508. That is of course all god, but because some fucked up users still use IE 6.0 and IE MAC 5.2 or whatever, my page looks quite sucky.
There ain’t much to do except maybe do a deep study and check out some hacks for older browsers. Since I got the book CSS Hacks & Filters (by: Joseph W. Lowery), I think I’m safe for the moment. I’ll first of all need to clear things out since I’ve got some floats. Another thing I’ll do is to just strip some CSS for older browsers. They will then get another perspective at the page, but it doesn’t matter as long as they can use my webpage right, right?
Well, I’m hungry, annoyed at older browsers and my computer is actin real strange today. The task manager shows that Firefox uses 99% of CPU-power right now, so it’s a bit laggy to write posts. Wierd.
