If there’s one thing which still gets me laughing, it’s tabletop RPG parodies. I’ve selected three different-but-similar comics which parodies everything about it; stories, ‘characters, players, game masters and all:
In high school I was game master for our WFRP group, and later on a dungeon master when we turned over to D&D (more action, less acting). I’ve read through DMoTR two times - the sweet perfume of nostalgia traps me and reminds me of how much fun we had back then.
When asked if this was a ripoff of DMoTR, they answered “Inspired by”. The group is playing SW’s Phantom Menace. Although I hate the movie, this parodic comic is pretty decent. It is, however, far from complete. If you’re into Star Wars and laughing, I totally recommend this one.
If you haven’t read anything by Dave ‘Fargo’ Kosak, I truly recommend reading some. They’re quite entertaining and cover alot of popular games in the industry. The articles are written for the web, meaning they’re short and fast paced. You just gotta love Fargo.

I loved #1 there. Let me also recommend something up the same alley: Irregular Webcomic!
(I’ve linked to the first strip, because it’s pretty story-driven. WARNING: Highly addictive!)
