Funcom’s 2nd quarter financial report for 2008 was published today, and finally – I can’t stress that enough – player (subscribtion) numbers has been released. Here’s some highlights:
So, they sold about 1.2 million copies of the game, but as of today they’ve hooked about 415 000 of them. The game hasn’t been out long, and since they’re still seeing revenue from Anarchy Online, I believe we’ve yet to see Funcom’s and Age of Conan’s real power.
If you want to, you can read the Q208 Report yourself (PDF). There’s more goodies to be extracted from it, such as Funcom’s new MMO called The Secret World.

You’re kidding, right? That’s low, like really…LOW. Damn, I do hope they’re gonna get them patches up and create some real challenging bosses and such. I’d hate to see them, the company, go bankrupt.
