Since US dollar keeps gaining on the Norwegian kroner, I’ve been forced to re-evaluate my current budget. Through hours of planning and calculating, this is the number I’ve landed on:

This number is so low, that only two select groups really know about it: poor students and chinese children.
It’s not that I am really, really poor. It’s more the point that I’ve spent alot of money on things I’d really not spend money on, like taking taxi to and from a party. Heck, cigarettes even! (No, I’m not addicted, but it’s almost priceless to take five minutes with a “filtered friend”.)
I’ve been eating alot of noodles; either cup noodles from the local deli, or fried ones with beef/chicken from the nearest chinese take-away. At least I keep saving those precious dineros so I can spend them on comics, movies and books.
I’ll see if I’m eligible to participate in the New York Lottery ($1 million/year for life), and spend the rest of my hard earned cash on tickets. Wish me luck!

The Noodle:
I bet those noodles taste good, but maybe not after a month or so eating them….

It’s been three weeks ago since I wrote this post, and I’m still eating noodles. It’s not because of the taste, since it lacks taste whatsoever, but because of the cheap simplicity: It’s cheap, and if you just use the bowl you buy (bowl+pack of Top Ramen), you can easily discard it afterwards and spend time on something else.
Like looking at tits. The birds.
