Exciting rumours about StarCraft 2!

This is so incredible, if it’s true, that if I had some hair on my head - I’d rip it all out. Today I found this newspost from GosuGamers.net (gosu usually means progamer).

According to a post at Thisisgame.com, Blizzard will announce the sequel for StarCraft in the home land of StarCraft: South Korea. The World Wide Invitational (WWI) is a Blizzard event where top gamers are invited to play Blizzard’s games, and that’s where the announcement is claimed to be.

Blizzard’s strategy for announcing new games have traditionally been by surprising the crowd at one of the major game events. According to Thisisgame, over 100 international media partners have been invited to the World Wide Invitational, and to the possible announcement of a sequel.

Simply amazing. For those of you who don’t know anything or haven’t heard abut StarCraft - where have you been living? Outside the internet? Utah (Oh, I’m sorry)?

The rumour hasn’t officially been approved by Blizzard-staff, but there’s alot of hinting and it would be a perfect moment to reveal it’s release at the WWI.

Read the whole post with comments here.
I’m going to catch up with the bed now, perhaps get some sleep sooner or later. Probably later since there’s stuff on the TV that I’d like to see. Maybe catch a movie too.

This isn’t necessary true. Other sites, like diablo3.net states that it will be Diablo 3 that will be announced, other sites claim a new game is in the works. So let’s not get our hopes up here.

Yeah, that’s right. It’s just a rumour, but I’ve dug further down the tunnel and found some more statements. I’ll write a post in a second, hang on.

  3. It’s the Solitaire 3 Vista Extravagance version.
