The Virtual Barbershop (And Other Scary Surround-Stuff)

One of my devoted fans, let’s call him Haltemien for now (even though it’s like the most silly nickname I’ve ever heard!), sent me this link:

Hair dryer and a woman whispering in your ear: http://david-heron.me.uk/blog/2007/04/27/more-3d-sound/

You might be asking yourself “What’s so special about these sounds?” and I’ll tell you: Shut up, close your eyes and just listen to them. Let your fantasy get to you and wet your pants - like I did. The virtual barbershop is just fucking creepy. I mean when do you ever visit barbers named Mario and Luigi? I don’t even trust them to do my plumbing, so why should I even let them touch my hair - let alone my head - with scissors? Jeez, there’s some fucked-up barbers out there, I’d say.

But seriously, try to do what the first link tells you to: Use (stereo) headphones, start the soundfile, close your eyes and let your imagination scare the living shit out of you. Time to go to bed now. Damn work tomorrow and I’ve really got to do something productive this time…

And what’s with 09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0 these days? I don’t know, ’cause I haven’t seen ‘im for the last days… Well

  1. COMALite J:

That’s Manuél and Luigi, not Mario & Luigi.
