This is, simply put, awesome. Studentersamfundet (Student society) in Trondheim was hosting the event “Star Wars - 30 years ago in a galaxy far, far away…” (link) which was a celebration of Star Wars’ 30 years. On the event the famous Imperial March was played among other known Star Wars soundtracks. What’s really awesome, was that Jeremy Bulloch - a well-known name among SW-fans - spent his precious time to come and celebrate with the people attending. He played the bounty hunter Boba Fett in episode 5 (Empire Strikes Back) and 6 (Return of the Jedi), a side-character (not a main character) who every SW-fan wanted to know more about because Boba Fett was just reeking pure awesomeness.
The norwegian cartoonist Mads Eriksen, creator of the comic book “M”, who’s a big SW-fan was also attending and had a speech about his personal experience of Star Wars. Mads Eriksen likes to show - through his comics - how much SW means to him, like these examples (Norwegian text):
And there’s plenty more of them in his comic book. I’m actually (nerd-alert!) proud of owning the A New Hope-themed cover of his first comic book-release (January 2007). I’m thinking of getting it signed just to increase it’s value - and then when I’m like 40 years old I’ll put it on eBay or whatever and earn millions of dollars. <insert evil maniac laughter here>
Just to show people how much Mads Eriksen loves Star Wars, he came to the event dressed as a regular Stormtrooper. According to himself, the outfit was created by him so it’s unique and not a mass-produced replica. I got to admit that I want one of those myself, so I can patrol the streets at night and see that all’s well. I digress, meanwhile I’d advice you to check out the pictures below!

What gets me even higher (on air, mind you), is that the whole event was filmed by Student-TV Trondheim (www.stv.no) and you can see the whole event in very good quality on the link provided below (Norwegian audio, not subtitled):

Below is a (poorly) translated quote by Mads Eriksen from the event:
This is what we’ve done today: We’ve been walking around town, been on Avalon (comic book shop) among others, and just been stormtroopers. I’ve got to say it’s been a real pleasure, and if I’d been twelve years old today, I think I’d pee’d my pants and pass out.
I’m at work, and I just felt that I was chosen to write this post at the given time. I wouldn’t, couldn’t, spend my precious sparetime grumbling about typos and translations - so the office was the place to get it done.
Edit: I found the pictures of Jeremy Bulloch and Mads Eriksen when they visited Avalon (comic-book shop). Check them out here! And here’s another photo of stormtrooper Mads Eriksen (and the leader of 501st Nordic Garrison as Darth Vader), taken by (unconfirmed) Mads’ brother Knut. At this moment this post is on 3rd place on blogs.google.com when you search for “mads eriksen and boba fett”.
