WATCHMEN: Best. Cake. Ever.

Imagine: Summer holiday. Everything’s perfect. You’re sunbathing, sipping a drink while your favourite music is playing in the background. Then, the doorbell rings:

It’s the cake delivery man. And he’s got a great cake for you: This cake is like some chocolate cake you just can’t stop eating. You just gotta have another slice. You gobble down the crumbs, and lick the plate till it’s shining.

You quickly realise you just want one more slice. Just one more! If you’d one more you would be full, and satisfied.

That’s how Watchmen was.

You wanted more ‘n more ‘n more, till you ran out of cake… or time. Personally, I would’ve enjoyed (at least) another hour. But the human bladder and the mainstream people can only hold on so long. (The girl next to me was sleeping halfway through the movie)
