Someone Just Keeps Donating To Binärpilot

The Nordland-fundraiser for Binärpilot reached $1500/1500 on February 28th. But the donations haven’t stopped. As of today, the fundraiser is at $1,624/1500.

What happens next?

Well, first of all Binärpilot got to finish all the tracks that’s supposed to be on the album. After that, he got to contact the CD makers and internet shops (US: CDBaby, NO: Planet Origo) and finalize the deals.

Before the CDs can be sold, the cover needs to be made. It’ll be done by the awesome artist Ray Frenden. I’m pretty psyched about the artwork already, and we haven’t seen anything of it yet. Saving the best part, eh?

What’s the track list?

We haven’t received a complete list of tracks, yet. Here’s the tracks we know for sure:

• Forte Da Funk
• Elektroll

Personally I’m hoping for a bonus track of some sorts. Maybe a thank-you-fans song or something. He’s working on such a song for the people who contributed to his MicroKorg-fundraiser. So far I can say it’s pretty much gonna awesome your pants off. If that’s possible.

How can I help?

Binärpilot himself answered this question (on the forums):

Time to pick up the pace! The war on popollution has moved to MP3 blogs. I need your help to generate as much hype as possible in the next few months to prepare for the Nordland release.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to send an email to every electronic/electro/dance/techno/club/idm/whathaveyou blog you can find and ask them to play Binärpilot. Here’s a good starting point A good trick is searching for a similar artist, like Daft Punk, and then mailing blogs that have posted their music. I have sent out a few emails tonight, and I will send more the next few days, but any help is welcome. I have included a template to help you. Go forth, be strong and do not falter!

Beside from that, you can always donate a couple of bucks or spread his music on the Internet/in real life.
