As there’ve been some astounding and creative “CSS-arts” out there, I too wanted to create something simple yet awesome, with CSS. It took some time figuring what was awesome and simple at the same time.

I was just surfing carelessly around the Internet, when I stumbled over this hidden beach of a blogspot-blog. This guy pixeloo creates some seriously realistic (and horrofying) pictures of animated characters, such as Homer Simpson and our 8-bit hero Mario. He calls the process untooning.
